Frequently Asked Questions
What is a flagon used for at Mass?
A flagon is a large liturgical vessel used to hold the wine that will be consecrated at Mass. It is particularly useful in parishes that offer Communion under both kinds, where a larger quantity of wine is needed for distribution to the congregation.
How does this flagon compare to the other plain K-367 versions?
The plain K-367 family includes three finish options: K-367-PL-PEWTER (bright pewter finish), K-367-PL-SILVER (silver plated finish), and K-367-PL-GOLD (24k gold plated finish). All three share the same 11-1/2" height, 48 oz. capacity, plain smooth body, and removable cover. The engraved grape design versions are K-367-PEWTER and K-367-GOLD.
