Product Overview
This 10-inch crucifix is crafted in cold cast bronze with a light hand-painted finish, bringing warmth and depth to the sculptural detail. It is part of the Veronese Collection by Goldscheider of Vienna, a studio with a long heritage of producing devotional and fine art figurines with exceptional attention to form and finish. The cold cast bronze process captures fine surface detail that mass-produced resin pieces cannot match, while the hand-painted accents give each piece a subtle individuality. Suitable for wall display in a home, office, chapel, or prayer space.
Intended Audience
This crucifix is designed for Catholic and Christian households, clergy, religious communities, and collectors of devotional art. It appeals to those who value craftsmanship and prefer a piece with artistic merit over a purely utilitarian religious item. It is equally at home in a private prayer corner, a rectory, a school chapel, or displayed as a centerpiece of a sacred space in the home.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is cold cast bronze?
Cold cast bronze is a composite material made by mixing bronze powder with a resin binder. The result is a dense, weighty piece with the look and feel of traditional bronze at a fraction of the cost of solid cast bronze. Surface details are crisp and durable.
Is this piece hand-painted?
Yes. Each crucifix receives a light hand-painted finish applied over the cold cast bronze base. This process adds tonal variation and highlights the sculptural relief, giving the piece a more refined, gallery-quality appearance.
What are the dimensions?
The crucifix measures 10 inches. Please refer to the product images for proportional reference before purchasing.
Is hardware included for wall mounting?
Mounting hardware is not specified. We recommend consulting a local hardware supplier for appropriate wall anchors based on your wall type.
Is this item fragile?
Cold cast bronze is more durable than standard resin but should still be handled with care. Avoid dropping or striking the piece, and dust with a soft dry cloth to maintain the finish.
