A Gold Scale Paten Engraved with the Pelican of Piety
Gold Scale Paten with Pelican Design is a beautifully detailed liturgical paten finished in bright 24k gold plate and engraved with the pelican feeding her young — one of the most ancient and beloved symbols of the Eucharist in Catholic tradition. Surrounded by a finely engraved decorative border, the pelican design gives this paten a richness and devotional depth that sets it apart from a plain gold paten.
At 5-3/4" in diameter, this scale paten from Koley's Inc. is designed to rest on the scale of a chalice during the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Its bright gold finish and engraved imagery make it a distinguished and meaningful choice for priests who appreciate liturgical vessels with traditional iconographic detail.
