Frequently Asked Questions
What does Volume I cover?
Volume I covers all Weekday Masses from Advent through Pentecost, including all options and prayers for each day.
Is this missal perpetual or year-specific?
This is a perpetual missal, meaning it does not need to be replaced each year. It is designed for ongoing, long-term use.
Is this a Sunday Missal?
No. This missal is specifically for weekday Masses. It does not include Sunday readings or the three-year Sunday cycle. A separate Sunday Missal would be needed for weekend Mass.
Why is the large type edition recommended?
The large type format makes the text significantly easier to read in the lower lighting common in many churches, and it is especially helpful for older adults or anyone with vision sensitivities.
What rite does this missal follow?
This missal follows the Novus Ordo, also known as the Ordinary Form of the Roman Rite, which is the form of Mass celebrated in most Catholic parishes in the United States.
