A Wide Cut Crystal Bowl for Use at Mass
The Cut Crystal Bowl by Koley's Inc. is a wide, shallow liturgical vessel crafted from clear crystal, designed for use at the altar during the celebration of Mass. Standing 2-1/4" in height with a 7" diameter, this bowl features an elaborate all-over cut crystal pattern covering the interior and exterior, including starburst and pinwheel cuts, fan cuts, and geometric diamond cuts. The flat, slightly stepped base also features cut crystal detailing. The wide, open form and generous diameter make this bowl well suited for use as a lavabo bowl during the washing of hands at the preparation of the altar, or as a host bowl for holding consecrated hosts during the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
The richly cut crystal surface catches and refracts light beautifully, giving this bowl a brilliant, sparkling presence at the altar. The cut pattern is from the same crystal family as the K-936 crystal pitcher, making the two a naturally coordinated set for use at Mass.
