A Cut Crystal Ablution Cup with a 24K Gold Plated Celtic Cross Cover
Crystal Ablution Cup with 24K Gold Plated Cross Cover by Koleys Inc. combines the brilliance of cut crystal with the warmth of 24k gold plate in a refined liturgical vessel designed for both beauty and practical use. The rounded crystal bowl features an elegant leaf and fan cut pattern, while the flat 24k gold plated lid is crowned with a distinctive Celtic cross finial set in a circular disc -- a meaningful symbol that elevates this cup beyond a purely functional vessel. Standing 4-3/8 inches tall with a 6-ounce capacity, it serves as an ablution cup for the purification of fingers after the distribution of Holy Communion, or as a holder for the distribution of ashes on Ash Wednesday.
This is a step above the standard ablution cup, offering parishes and sacristans a vessel that honors the dignity of the Eucharistic rite and the Lenten season with both craftsmanship and sacred symbolism.
