A Cut Crystal Ablution Cup for Liturgical Purification and Ash Distribution
Cut Crystal Ablution Cup with Cover by Koleys Inc. is a beautifully crafted liturgical vessel that serves two important purposes in the parish: as an ablution cup for the purification of fingers after the distribution of Holy Communion, and as a holder for the distribution of ashes on Ash Wednesday. Standing 3-3/4 inches tall with a 4-ounce capacity, this cup features an intricate pinwheel and floral cut pattern throughout the body and domed lid, with a disc finial -- a level of craftsmanship that brings elegance and reverence to both uses.
Its clear cut crystal construction allows the contents to be easily seen, and the covered design keeps ashes or water protected between uses. A refined and practical addition to any sacristy or sanctuary.
