A Dedicated Hospital Pyx for High-Volume Communion Ministry
Hospital Pyx by Koley's Inc. is purpose-built for chaplains and ministers who regularly bring Holy Communion to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and care facilities. The hinged cover -- secured by a front latch -- opens smoothly and stays in place during distribution, making it far more practical for bedside ministry than a standard snap-close pyx. The lid is adorned with a beautifully enameled Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) in cream and white enamel, set against a red and black enamel cross on a gold-finish background.
At 3-1/4 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep, this pyx holds up to 60 hosts and is designed for use with the companion burse K-3085. It is the most substantial vessel in Koley's pyx lineup and an essential tool for any active hospital or institutional communion ministry.
