Please note: The image shown is for reference only and depicts the gold plated version (K-329-GOLD). This listing is for the stainless steel finish (K-329-ST-STEEL), which has a polished silver appearance.
This ceremonial oil stock from Koley's Inc. brings a clean, contemporary finish to one of the most sacred vessels in the sacristy. Crafted in stainless steel and designed specifically for the New Liturgy, its wide 4-3/4" diameter dish form is suited for altar or sacristy display during the Anointing of the Sick and other liturgical celebrations.
The cover is engraved with "OI" for the Oil of the Infirm, and "OS" (Oil of the Sick) or "SC" (Sacred Chrism) engravings can be furnished to meet the needs of any parish or celebrant. Its polished stainless steel finish offers a durable, dignified alternative to gold plated options, making it a practical choice for parishes seeking lasting quality.
How does this differ from the gold plated K-329?
This model (K-329-ST-STEEL) is finished in stainless steel rather than 24k gold plating. Both share the same 4-3/4" diameter ceremonial dish form and New Liturgy design. The stainless steel finish offers a contemporary look and is generally more resistant to wear over time.
What engravings are available on this oil stock?
The stock comes standard with "OI" (Oil of the Infirm) engraved on the cover. "OS" (Oil of the Sick) and "SC" (Sacred Chrism) engravings can also be furnished. Please contact Reger's when ordering to specify your preferred engraving.
What is the diameter of this oil stock?
This ceremonial oil stock measures 4-3/4" in diameter, making it significantly larger than a standard pocket oil stock and well suited for altar or sacristy display.
What does "designed for the New Liturgy" mean?
This oil stock is designed in the wide, open dish form associated with the reformed Roman Rite following the Second Vatican Council. Its larger size and ceremonial presentation make it suitable for communal liturgical celebrations rather than individual pastoral visits.
How long does production take?
This item has a production time of 10 to 12 weeks. Please plan accordingly, especially when ordering for Holy Week, ordinations, or other scheduled liturgical events.
Can this oil stock be personalized beyond the standard engraving options?
Beyond the OI, OS, and SC engraving options noted by the vendor, additional personalization is not confirmed. Please contact Reger's directly for further engraving or customization inquiries.
